Important Legal Requirements
- Notaries Public cannot provide legal advice
- All parties must be present with valid government-issued photo identification
- Do not sign documents prior to notarization
- Some documents require two witnesses
- A party to a juridical act may not serve as a witness
- The notary executing the act may not act as a witness
- We do not accept LA Wallet as identification
How Our Rates Are Determined
Louisiana does not prescribe maximum notary fees, which allows us to provide transparent, fair pricing based on the specific requirements of each notarial service.

Payment Policy
South Coast Notary does not accept checks. Booking fees are due at the time of booking. Any additional fees are due at the time services are rendered. This policy ensures efficient scheduling and service delivery.
